I communicate with my clients, we have weekly Zoom catch ups which a lot of VAs don't offer. I don't sit silently waiting for my clients to contact me, I'm always thinking ahead, suggesting ideas and when I see a client is very busy and maybe doesn't have time to think about the things they want to outsource, I always will use my initiative to suggest what I can do to help. In some sense, I'm more of an OBM to some clients and love them to feel like I'm their business sidekick and I have their back all the time! These are not mandatory calls but are highly encouraged to keep a solid working relationship and to make sure our work together & your priorities are communicated effectively.

The full set-up process usually takes around 3 weeks and then the final week is used for handover and to go over any edits. The timeline is heavily reliant on receiving the information outlined in our strategy call. You will be provided with a checklist to help you prepare everything we’ll need to get your system up and running. I do require a full handover of documents and business assets as well as your time for a 90-minute strategy call to go over and improve your processes.

I'm here to take away the steep learning curve. We will have a full handover and live walkthrough of your system. It will take some practise for you to learn where to find your way around but I will give you a bank of 'How to videos' and I'll be your support network for 14 days after project completion to make sure you have everything you need and dropping you some daily challenges to ensure you can do this on your own after our work together comes to an end.

Understandably some months will be busier than others. The quieter months are a great time to focus on levelling up your business, making processes better, developing your systems and figuring out the changes that need to be made to make your life easier going forward. I will always be thinking ahead for you and suggesting ideas along the way to help and grow your business.

Usually, we would discuss your priority list during our catch up calls so I can prioritise my time and your tasks effectively. It will depend on the task and the time it would take, and I will always give you a turnaround time. For my retainer clients, I time block throughout my week so I will always guarantee you have my availability every week. Most of the time, I find a routine with my clients so the daily/weekly tasks are well looked after so you no longer have to worry if it’s been done.

Social media management is not an area I cover. This is not something that usually would fit into an hourly retainer package and it usually means you would be better off hiring a specialist who offers packages specific to Social Media Management. What I do offer is social media graphic design, video editing, story template & sequence designs and audiograms.

For retainer packages, I do invoice upfront for the month ahead. I require a 30 day notice period to stop your retainer. I keep a detailed time tracker so you are kept up to date weekly on where we’re upto. Extra hours cannot be guaranteed due to availability but if agreed beforehand, these are charged at an hourly rate.
