Meet Cassie Widders

PODCAST HOST & SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGIST

Cassie is an experienced Social Media Strategist, she helps personal brands and service-based business owners use social media in an intentional, balanced and healthy way and get results.

Why did you hire a virtual assistant?

I didn't need a VA to help me be organised, I needed someone I could trust to not need me to be organised. To not need me to remember and chase etc. Before working with you, I felt that I was doing all of that and that I had no more room in my brain or enough hands to keep spinning all of the plates. I think it's so crucial as a small business owner to have someone to divide all of that with and give you some brain space back. Otherwise, it leads to burnout exactly like I experienced.

THE 10 HOUR PACKAGE

Below is an insight into the tasks covered on a monthly basis

  • Website maintenance: Cassie has a beautifully designed Showit Website. I’m here to assist with any edits required along with updates, new page layouts and process implementation to consistently be improving Cassie’s customer journey.

  • Workflow and automations: Cassie’s business is forever evolving and growing and for every new service launch comes a new process. We work together to fine tune the onboarding and project management aspect of her services. Using Dubsado I map out and build workflows so her clients have a professional and personal onboarding experience so Cassie can concentrate on the important bit aka delivering the service!

  • Form & Proposal design: There is nothing worse than being taken off a beautifully designed website and taken to a humdrum Google form. Anything from Cassie’s proposals to client questionnaires are designed with her branding in mind so the customer journey is consistent with her brand.

  • Podcast management: Cassie’s podcast, The Social Self offers an insight, tips and advice on how to you use social media in an intentional, balanced and healthy way! I help Cassie with onboarding her podcast guests, diary management and communications so Cassie has the time to focus on the content itself.

  • CRM Management: Anything from onboarding, focusing on customer retention and making sure invoices go out when they need. All these shallow tasks are well maintained giving Cassie the brain space to focus on the deep work and not get bogged down with the nitty gritty admin.

  • Project management & Communication: Cassie & I have a weekly Zoom catchup to cover all her priorities for the week/month ahead. We have an Slack channel setup for daily communications and file sharing as well as an Asana board so Cassie can easily track everything going on in her business.

“I knew I could never run a simple and stress-free business model if I attempted to do everything myself.”

What are the results?

I would not have the onboarding or offboarding system I have now

My invoicing system would still be manual

My whole client experience would be far, far inferior

I would not have a practical way of managing the podcast recording set up for guests

What are the main benefits from working with a Virtual Assistant?

Brain space is huge. To have someone you trust to not drop the ball means you can let go of so many things you have to remember or remind or chase. That has been massive for me. Another huge one is the systems I have in place. I also really value the support you bring, you're always a cheerleader for what I'm building and it's just so so nice to have that when you work for yourself.
